Originating in 1963, Sarris Candies has become a premier manufacturer, marketer and retailer of premium chocolate products. Founder Frank Sarris probably never imagined that a gesture to impress his girlfriend 50 years ago would lead to a large chocolate manufacturing and retail operation. Sarris, who obviously succeeded in impressing his eventual bride, aimed to continuously improve his confectionary skills and grew that desire into an enterprise that now operates two production facilities, employs over 300 employees and services a broad range of retail shops and outlets throughout Pennsylvania and neighboring states. Sarris has been voted “Best Chocolates in Pittsburgh” by City Paper every year since 2001. Sarris Candies offers an extensive selection of hundreds of different types of chocolate confections including boxed chocolates, chocolate bars and the famed chocolate covered pretzels, as well as seasonal items for the perfect holiday gift or occasion. Sarris also specializes in corporate gifts and offers a wide range of wedding, anniversary and baby novelties. Though Sarris Candies has grown into a large company, it prides itself in maintaining a small company service philosophy, to be approachable, cooperative and accessible to all of our customers.
